How should I draw.

I'm having a bit of trouble of how to draw any characters, and I really wanted some help by showing me what I did wrong in my drawings as well as some advice on how I should improve. I want to design my characters for my novel so that I can flesh out my story, and also to draw some fanarts just for the sake of it. I'm currently plotting my novel, but I also wanted to try illustrate my original characters. So I thought that it's perhaps that I should seek some advice from you, if you are willing of course.
